Privacy Policy

Secure for Society is an initiative of the Modern Digital Innovation Foundation (MDIF). Last updated 14 September 2026.

Who we are

Secure for Society™ is operated by the Modern Digital Innovation Foundation (MDIF), a Section 8 non-profit company. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and our certification enquiries.

Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to give us — for example, your name, email, phone number, organisation and website when you submit a certification enquiry — together with basic technical information your browser sends when you visit the site. We do not sell personal information.

How we use it

Personal information is handled only for legitimate service, enquiry and programme purposes: to respond to certification enquiries, to carry out and maintain trustmark assessments, to operate the public registry, and to support MDIF's education, research and public-awareness mission.

The public registry

Where a digital service is certified, limited trustmark details (such as the organisation name, trustmark status, level and validity) may be published in the public registry so that the mark can be independently verified. Registry entries shown on this site during launch are clearly labelled as sample demonstration data only.

Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the initiative, and where required by law. Certification services may be delivered via SecureForSociety.com under the same commitments.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you have given us. This policy is governed by the legal identity of the Modern Digital Innovation Foundation.
